Dear Greg, I'm not sure how legitimate this medium is to reach you, but it's worth a shot. I'm an old acquaintance that went to school with you at A.C.S Athens. I was looking through my yearbook just today and it suddenly slapped me in the face what became of you. In High School, you were just Greg, so I never put one and one together...It figures, you always knew you wanted to be an actor. Congratulations! Many people from that school have accomplished big goals. It's nice to discover another. You probably wouldn't remember me, I was a little younger, but I bet we know a lot of people/teachers in common... Hope this reaches you.

I LOVE YOU, GREG. I thought you were absolutely hysterical on "Later". You were the only reason I watched "Sabrina", your performance was better than Harrison Ford's. I've also seen "Dear God". I have yet to see "A Smile Like Yours". But I believe you have finally showed the world your excellent acting potential in "As Good As It Gets". I was thrilled when I heard about your nomination. I hope you win!! ( If Burt Renyolds wins I am personally going to kill him) I believe you are a charming, charismatic, wonderful human being and I wish you the best of luck in the future. Hope to see you in a another movie soon!!!!

Hi, I think I am the only guy here, but I am sorry, I really like Greg. I think he is my first love back to Japan when I saw the movie A smile like yours. I think I am the only saw that movie. I have tried to see Dear God too. But what really turn me on is his act in As Good As it gets. I saw it 8 times just 3 times less than Titanic ( I saw it 11 times). But the reason I see the movie is only because of Greg. He is so greg (great) in there. And he reminds me of so hard to be a gay in NY. And I still have a long way to go. I just 21. Anyway, you are the one, no matter where you are and where you in, I will always there with you. I like his Sabrina too. And the Advocate article, etc. YOu are the best. Love, Aniki.

Congratulations on your well deserved Oscar Nomination! You were absolutely fabulous in As Good As It Gets! I knew that you would be nominated for an Oscar! You are fabulously talented! In fact, you are the most talented new romatic comedy male star in Hollywood since Cary Grant! Doing romantic comedies along the likes of Cary Grant would be ideal for you right now. Of course, you need excellent scripts and directors! How about doing a film with Barbara Streisand? You and she would have excellent chemistry on screen and you would have been absolutely fabulous with her in What's Up Doc? unlike Ryan O'Neal!I know that if you choose the right film vehicles you'll be the biggest new male star in Hollywood - keep doing romantic comedies until you are firmly established in those roles and then perhaps try something very special in a dramatic part - but not right now! I feel that at this point in your career any dramatic parts that you might undertake would work against firmly establishing yourself as Hollywood's leading romantic comedy male star. If you undertake a dramatic part I think doing something with director Mike Nichols would be an excellent choice for you providing the part and script are really special.Good Luck and I wish you all the success in the world! You deserve to win the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor on Oscar Night!Sanford

I believe that Greg deserved that globe award more thananybody else. He is a talented under-rated celebrity thatHollywood should recognize. Reynolds had a much easier role.

In James L. Brooks' "As Good As It Gets," Greg Kinnear turns in a performance of such stunning emotional range and power, that it comes as a surprise the man hasn't had more experience in movie acting (He must be a truly gifted natural). It is too bad the members of the Academy will give what amounts to a thinly-veiled lifetime achievement award to Burt Reynolds for his far less challenging turn as a porno movie mogul in "Boogie Nights." The only hope is that Reynolds and Robin Williams ("Good Will Hunting") will split what I refer to as the "gray-haired vote" and Kinnear will slip through and win after all. If that happens, the viewing audience will be treated to a surprise as great as Juliette Binoche's upset over Lauren Bacall last year.

Just saw AGAIG with my 10 year old daughter and we are now 'mega' Greg fans.I'd seen the GG awards last week where everyone in the cast won, but GK and I'm now somewhat shocked, because, quite frankly, GK was the best thing about that film other than the brilliant screenplay. A lessoractor would not have brought Simon to life as poignantly as GK did. I'm still stunned and moved by his performance.Mr. Kinnear is a magical revelation. I would watch the film again several times just to observe thebeauty of his mastery of subtle nuance. He really nailed that part and I'm amazed any other actor could havecould have expressed more depth and feeling as brilliantly as GK did. Jack N.'s performance was truly wonderful, but, quite frankly, GK was better. I wish him all the best and hope to see him in many more movies. He really was the only one worth watching in that tiresome remake of Sabrina. Greg is very special and sure to bea big star soon. http://www.isisinstitute.com

I have followed Greg Kinnear since he and SoupTalk first appeared years ago, and have always known he's one in a million. Katie Couric claims to have "discovered" him, but I'd like to think I "saw" him first ;-) Possibly because he has a "twin" who's a friend of mine, so my attention was probably first influenced by the stunning resemblance. I am truly sorry Mr. Kinnear didn't get the very first award offered tonight, while at the same time I'm glad Burt Reynolds got it (he's worked so hard for so many years, and was never "recognized" before), if Mr. Kinnear couldn't get it. I hope Greg Kinnear will keep on working...he's such a hilite in my life, with all his wit and charm. I truly miss him as the host of SoupTalk (or whatever they call it...I only noticed him and his funny, yet stylish, charm ;-) I consider myself a huge fan (hehe, "huge" could mean anything ;-) and I know that Mr. Kinnear will, some day, be awarded for his great personality.

I just got through reading The Talk Soup Years" and I'm so excited! There I learned that we were on the Memorial Day "Clip of the Week". See we were on the Richard Bey Show on May 24, l994 and it's Jim, my husband, who told me he's addicted to dominatrixes. We've been on Talk Soup several times and we even were mentioned at his "Year End " show in l994. Did you all read Jan. 20 issue of Enquierer? I usually don't look at those especially after diana but when I heard greg was in there I did. What a dissapointment. I feel so sorry for him. He's been so hurt by that I forget her name. She's so beneath him. I hope he doesnt' ruin his career and life by marrying her. I used to be the biggest Kinnear fan but not after this. what a disgrace she is. he needs someone who is beautiful on the inside and doesn't do drugs and sleep around with everyone. I've lost a lot of respect for him. He can't change her or save her she is what she is. I am not sticking around to watch this happen. Former Kinnear Fan.

Melbourne, Vic Australia - Thursday, January 15, 1998 at 21:40:59 I just saw Greg Kinnear tonight, acting in As Good as it Gets. He certainly brought live to his character and made me feel compassion for "Simon"...but I have to admit, I really noticed him for a decidedly less profound reason;-)Wow...he has a heartbreakingly beautiful face...his face is a masterpiece! Yep. Shallow as it is, that's what really caught my attention so much that I stayed to view the credits and then look up his name on the net.and here I am!;-)I'm sure people are really going to be watching out for this looker, and it doesn't hurt that he landed in a rather good production too;-) I'm a sucker, but I hope to see more of those beautiful eyes! I admit, I had never heard of you Greg until I watched "As Good As It Gets" tonight. The movie was excellent, and did a great job of portraying what actually goes on in this world...the pain and suffering gays are put through. You did an awesome(understatement) job and I will definitely keep up with you from here on out. I just fell in love with Simon, and hope to find someone like him someday, if he actually exists. I suppose that even the real Greg probably isn't as sweet as Simon was, I felt so sorry for him.

I saw you on the David Letterman show last night and on another interview earlier. You are very believable in the parts i've seen you play, but what made my write is the fact that you are so real. Boy, did that sound corny. The way you acted around Kim Bassinger and talk about the other stars you've met is not only funny, but you act like any of "us" would around such people. When i see an interview with you it's not like you're some "star", it's more like one of "us" has made it. To see how excited you are and how knew and thrilling and challenging acting is to you is so refreshing. It's obvious you love your job and that's so cool compaired to other actors who get on a show and act as though it's a boring chore. It's been a long time since I've seen someone who is making it big seem so sincere. It's nice to see an ordinary man make it big. Keep up the good work, and don't let the job ever damper your excitment. I'd tell you were gorgeous and I'd like to meet you, but it seems to me that with all these other entries, you probably have a big enough head, and the point is, well, to stay grounded. One last thing: I can't stand Jack Nickolson, but I will pay to see "As Good As It Gets", to see you perform. Just wanted you to know that my $7 and viewing audience, was all gotten on your acount. Just on your merits. And not because you're good looking, but because you are talented and your performances are a joy to watch.......

You were outstanding in "As good as it Gets". It was one of the best movies I have seen. Thank you for taking on the role of a gay man in todays society. There are not many straight men out there that would take on such a task, let alone do such a tremdous job. Thanks for your sincerity. Keep up the good work....

GREG, Just had to let you know that after seeing you're absolutely wonderful performance in As Good As It Gets, you have mad me a HUGE fan of yours for life!!! You were so brilliant as the gay neighbor that I would find it hard to believe that you wouldn't get nominated for an OSCAR for your performance. I will be sure to watch everything you do from now on and I'm sure you will never disappoint. You are one of the few men in Hollywood that have the charm, beauty, charisma, and TALENT to secure a long and memorable career in film. Keep up the excellent work and good luck at Oscar time!!! Drop me a line sometime. (may be stupid to say, but I can always dream!).Love,Steve

AS GOOD AS IT GETS is one of the best Christmas presents the film industry has given us in a long time! Thank you, Greg, for giving one of the most honest portrayals of a gay man on film! After IN & OUT, THE BIRD CAGE, and JULIE NEWMAR, I was beginning to think that only extremes would end up on the big screen. Imagine my surprise in seeing Simon from your movie--what a delight to find an actor playing a gay man and making him a full-fledged character in a film!!!Thank you for an Oscar-deserving performance! I am proud of the film and of you---the ADVOCATE interview was great...stay wonderful and much success to you!

I think that Greg is an awesome actor. I have seen As Good As It Gets, and I think that he should really get an award for that part. He was such a sensitive guy. I wish I knew him in person. Plus he is really lucky that he got to knowall those great actors, the dog included

Greg (if you're seeing this, I hope), I loved you in "Sabrina" and on "Talk Soup," but "As Good as It Gets" really wowed me. I've already seen it twice and can't wait to see it again. As a gay man, I'm very particular about how gays are played on screen, and you're terrific--believably gay without stereotyping or condescending. Really amazing. And that last scene with Nicholson--wow. Beautifully played. Now if you'd just dump the girl and run off with me...Thanks for just being you!

Hi Greg! I am nearly twenty-eight years old and this is actually the first "fan letter" I have ever written! I knew I was a "fan" when, in the middle of a huge Indiana snowstorm, I made my friend, one of the guys in my cast, help me dig the car out of a snow bank, pour hot water on the frozen windshield and push the car half way to the movie theatre to see Sabrina...it would have been faster to snow shoe there! I was living at the theatre I was working in at the time (Beef & Boards Dinner Theatre in Indianapolis...I'm a singer/dancer) and we literally had to make loads of trips from the kitchen inside the theatre to the parking lot with buckets of hot water to cut through the ice and the frozen door locks/handles! Then, I had to hang my head out the car window on the way to the movie to make sure we didn't run off the road as we still couldn't really see out the icy windshield. It was hilarious and seeing the film was worth every bit of frostbite! Tonight, as I was on my way to see As Good As It Gets with my family in Michigan, I was remembering and laughing about that night in Indianapolis. I am never home anymore and forget how COLD it can be in the mid-West! The last couple of years, I have been singing and dancing on cruise ships. My current gig is on the Queen Elizabeth 2 but I was lucky enough to be able to come home for the holidays, before we are off again, around the world! After this contract, I am thinking of accepting an offer for a show in Atlantic City, just to be on land for a while. It would also be easier to go to auditions in New York if I was there.Well, I am just rambling on now...as I do! Chances are you will never read this and I feel rather foolish even writing, but, if you should see this, I'd like you to know that I enjoy, admire and respect your work immensely. Congratulations on your success! (Let's hope that a little of your good luck will wear off on some of us other entertainers from the Great Mid-West! Ha! Ha!) Best wishes always!Angie

Greg.. you stud you! Where did ya go? I keep waiting for a guest appearance on Talk Soup but you never go.. Why? Too good for them or do they not want you back? I think a guest appearance would definately boost the ratings. And since John Henson is too busy to host the show anymore (There are guest hosts a plenty) Your appearance would make us interested again instead of tuning in and seeing Pauly Shore,,*ugh* You are awesome Greg! *huggggs*

I have had the biggest crush on Greg since those goofy Eagle Talon commercials. He's a great actor and he's nice lookin', too. He comes across as being a really nice guy. I worked at NBC studios in Burbank over the summer. Unfortunately, he was already gone. Just think of how much more I would've enjoyed going to work knowing that GREG KINNEAR was only a few yards away?Hubba Hubba! did I just say Hubba Hubba?ERIN

Lets set the record perfectly straight. Kinnear was the sole person who carried the "hapless" E-network with his "Talk Soup Comedy". If not for him, E would not exist. Secondly, he killed on Later and made the other networks realize that 1:30AM was a valid market. Who ever saw a "Costas" show anyway? Third, he again proved himself in Sabrina, beyond any measure. Dear God wasn't great, but not because of Kinnear! Same for A smile like Yours! The scripts and directors lost it. All of you that put the measuring stick so high are unrealistic. Look at Stalone, Van Damn, Demi Moore, Eastwood, Bruce Willis. All have had numerous huge financial bombs but are considered "highly rated" actors. Only time, as with all actors, will tell with Kinnear. His numerous and successive major accomplishments are what causes us all to unreasonably expect more than what rightfully should be expected of him! Give him some time. ALso, I have almost every show did on Later and soon will be putting clips from his shows on my website. Look for more info on my site soon. Lets all hope that "As Good As It Gets" does justice to Kinnear in the meantime!

Great homepage! I really miss Greg on Talk Soup...i remember when i couldn't miss a show, and i always hurt myself laughing...since he left, i rarely even watch anymore. I;m glad i'm not the only one who remembers the days of "Gregfellas", the Expression Menu, and "A Man Chases A Woman". I'd die if Greg came back when John left...considering his career now, it'd be a good idea.

Hose-Whatever! Greg's released three movies AND was on network tv, and most people have NOOOO idea who he is. Craig's been on only ESPN and Comedy Central and there are about 6 homepages for him. Greg Kinnear's homepages: only 1 worth mentioning. Greg Kinnear's career is about 6 feet under right now.
